We are in the process of formalizing our official Green Neuroscience Mandate. If you would like an overview of the guiding principles and aims please see: “Green Neuroscience Laboratory – Principles, Practices & Aims“. We view these as a “Roadmap to a New Neuroscience”.
Another good place to start is a report of a talk we gave titled: “Green Neuroscience: Re-envisioning how we Study the Brain and Ourselves“. The talk was given at the Science and Justice Research Center at the University of California Santa Cruz in January 2013. This was our first formal talk on the creation of the Green Neuroscience Laboratory. The report covers some of the reasons for the lab formation, current challenges in neuroscience, our research projects, space considerations (physical and conceptual) and some of the scientific and social justice concerns we are trying to address.
