Computation, Sentience & Organoids – Guardian Story

The Guardian has just reported on our work on computational modeling, consciousness and organoids.

The Guardian: Scientists may have crossed ethical line with brain organoids.

GN is calling for a moratorium on brain organoid research that approaches sentience and a ban on organoid transplantation in animals.

We will be presenting on the topic at the Society for Neuroscience 2019 Annual Meeting:

Monday Oct. 21, 2019, 9:30 AM – 9:45 AM

Want to work on this urgent scientific and policy issue with us? Please send us your name, contact info and affiliation to sentience@greenneuro.org
